Aligning Objects
Use the Alignment commands to quickly align the selected
objects with respect to one another.
To align objects:
1.
Click Top-Down to select the top-down view. (This step is optional, but
alignment is usually easier in the top-down view.)
2.
Select the desired objects.
3.
Click Align and then choose the desired alignment command.

Left Sides |
Align all objects to their leftmost
extent. |

Horizontal Centers |
Align all objects horizontally based on their
average position. |

Right Sides |
Align all objects to their rightmost
extent. |

Top Sides |
Align all objects to their topmost extent.
(Top in this case refers to the up/down direction when viewed from
above.) |

Vertical Centers |
Align all objects vertically based on their average
position. (Vertical in this case refers to the up/down direction
when viewed from above.) |

Bottom Sides |
Align all objects to their bottommost extent.
(Bottom in this case refers to the up/down direction when viewed
from above.) |

Distribute Horizontally |
Position the objects evenly in the horizontal
direction based on their centers. |

Distribute Vertically |
Position the objects evenly in the vertical
direction based on their
centers. |
